Jägermeister is a digestif, classified as a liqueur, made with 56 herbs and spices. Developed in 1934 by Wilhelm and Curt Mast, it has an alcohol by volume of 35%.
The recipe has not changed since its creation and continues to be served in its signature green glass bottle. It is excellent taken neat or in cocktails.
The label is part of an old tale of Hubertas, who created the drink. After his wife died he walked to the woods to go hunting and saw a stag with a cross betwixt its antlers.
This herbal drink is different and incomparable to any other liquors. Very complex and this complexity makes it extra special.
